An injury accident occurred at 1:20 pm Tuesday at the intersection of Cherry and Plummer Streets.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Dodge Grand Caravan southbound on Plummer failed to yield right of way to a Volvo semi and was struck when it tried to cross Cherry.

The driver and passenger in the van, Walter Harvey, 38, and Daisy Cummings, 35, were transported to Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. They were both wearing safety restraints. An occupant in the van, 15-month-old Dakota Spradley, was in a proper childseat and was not injured.

Driver of the semi Ricardo Larios, 50, Ocala, Fla., was also taken to the hospital. He was wearing a safety restraint.
