Sherwin fire results in no injuries

Firefighters were dispatched to a residence fire in Sherwin Junction Friday morning and arrived to find the structure fully engulfed.

The 3:30 a.m. call to the Stella Bowman residence at 104 Northwest 63rd Street in Sherwin, was 90-percent destroyed however there were no injuries.

Columbus had three units at the fire, with Lola Township, West Mineral and Scammon each having one truck at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
