Crews on scene say it took about an hour to get the fire under control.

Crews and some employees of the business, Diamond Engineering, are assessing the damage.

Fire crews got the call around 6:20 p.m. Friday and upgraded it to a two-alarm fire around 6:30.

Crews say they were initially concerned about the fire not just because of the amount of flames and smoke, but also because of explosions that could be heard inside.

It is not known how much damaged was caused. An employee tells Eyewitness News the vice president is inside with fire crews taking a look.

Pawnee was closed between West St. and Meridian, but now that crews have left the scene, it is back open.
