Area firefighters participated in a training session Saturday on property on Scott Road owned by Rob Riggin. Firefighters conducted training on attacking fires set in two rooms of a home. Sheetrock was placed on the walls of the rooms because of its slower burn rate and tin sheets were placed on the floors. Pallets were stacked on the tin sheets and the fires set on the pallets. The Wichita Metro Area Fools of Oz helped with the training, along with the Neosho Township Fire Department.
