Robert J. Mullin

Robert J. Mullin, 75, Lee’s Summit, MO, went to be with our Lord on May 28, 2017. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., Monday, June 5 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 2001 S. Broadway, Oak Grove, MO. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.

Bob began his career as a volunteer firefighter in Shawnee and Overland Park, KS. This experience would usher him into a 35-year career with the National Fire Safety Council. His passion was bringing fire safety education to children (“Stop, drop, and roll!”). He was an avid Chiefs fan! Bob also loved taking his grandsons fishing, entertaining family at home, but most of all just spending time with the love of his life, Helen.

Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; a son, Robert Mullin; and two brothers. He is survived by: his wife of 31 years, Helen (Noone) Mullin; daughter, Raquel Mullin-Davis; daughter, Cynthia (John) Mincher; son, Kevin Stadler; son, Greg (Linda) Stadler; and daughter, Lisa (John) Dixon; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Rhonda) Mullin.
