Four teenagers are hurt after a crash near El Dorado Lake Sunday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the four were in a Camaro driven by an 18-year-old from Wichita.

KHP says the driver was speeding, lost control and struck a tree.

The driver and three passengers, ages 19, 15 and 17, were hurt.

Captain Troy Jellison of the El Dorado Fire Department posted on the department’s official Facebook page that the crash happened near Boulder Bluff Area 2 at El Dorado Lake.

Crews used the jaws of life to remove two of the teens from the wreckage.

Two of the teens were taken by ambulance, the other two were flown by helicopter to area hospitals.
