No injuries were reported after car became engulfed in flames Sunday in Lansing, a fire department spokesman said.

The fire was reported at 10:29 p.m. at Main and Ida streets.

A driver of a 2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI was alerted that his car was on fire by someone in another vehicle, said Rick Huhn, chief of Leavenworth County Fire District No. 1.

The driver pulled into a mobile home park, stopping near two parked vehicles.

Huhn said everyone made it safely out of the car, which was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. The fire melted bumpers of the two nearby vehicles.
