Multiple departments battle grass fire in Butler County

KWCH – July 26, 2017

Six fire departments responded to a grass fire in Butler County on Tuesday.

Firefighters say a homeowner was burning trash in the in the 13000 block of SW 200th when the fire got out of control.

It took crews about two hours to get the fire under control. It burned about 15 acres in a wooded area.

No structures were threatened and no one was hurt.
