Billy E. Frump

Billy Frump, 85, of Severance, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017.

Billy was born on October 27, 1931 in Severance, Kansas to Ira and Anna (Long) Frump. He was a lifelong resident of Doniphan County and worked for Herzog as a supervisor in the Railroad division, retiring in 2001 after 33 years.

He was a founding member of the Elwood Fire Department, served in the Horton National Guard for 15 years, a member of the Elwood Lions Club, 50 year plus member of the Wathena Masonic Lodge #64 AF &AM

Bill married Norma Jo Ann Liechti on June 30, 1954 in Elwood, Kansas. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Joey Frump, 2 sisters; Geraldine Smith and JoAnn Farr

Jack (Sue) Frump of Elwood, Kansas
Gary Joe Frump of Troy, Kansas
Daughter, Christi Lysaght of Severance, Kansas
4 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren
2 sisters; Pearl Rice of Lancaster, Kansas
Judy (Gilbert) Garcia of Tampa, Florida
Aunt Arlene Smith of Troy, Kansas

Funeral Service: Thursday, August 10, 2017 – 2:00 P.M.
At: Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas
Burial: Bellemont Cemetery in Wathena where there will be a Masonic Committal service under the auspices of the Wathena Masonic Lodge #64.
Visitation: family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
