Company Officer Academy in Kansas

Hello!

We are excited to announce that Columbia Southern University has partnered with the Manhattan Fire Department to host the Company Officer Academy. We invite you to take the next step in your education and join us for this informative and engaging three-day class.

Chiefs John Salka and Rick Lasky have put together a dynamic multi-day program that addresses the many skills and abilities that company officers need to have to be effective in the firehouse and on the fire ground. This program is designed for new company officers, current officers and future officers.

$150 – Early Bird CSU Student/Alumni/Learning Partner
$175 – Early Bird Basic Registration

Continuing Education Units:
This year participants have the opportunity to earn 2.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) courtesy of Columbia Southern University’s Department of Continuing Education. In order to receive all 2.4 CEUs, participants must be present throughout the duration of the retreat, as confirmed by a sign-in roster each day. Following the completion of the retreat, CEUs will be verified through Columbia Southern University and certificates will be mailed to participants.
